It is with great pleasure that I send you this
e-mail. My husband and I had the privilege to
experience a trip from 20 – 24 Sept down the
Nile on the Amalia. We commend your staff for
the excellent service we experienced, and
especially Tony for being a gracious,
knowledgeable and friendly host/manager. Amr Aly
Oumran was an excellent guide, knowledgeable,
friendly and good company without being
invasive. I commend him for his pleasant manner,
good sense of humour and understanding the needs
of his guests. It would give us great pleasure
if you could convey our thoughts to Tony, Amr
and the staff aboard the Amalia. Best wishes

Dear Hendy,
My husband Jonathan and I have just returned
from a holiday to Egypt, part of which comprised
of a 4 day trip aboard the Amelia. We wanted to
share with you what a wonderful time we had on
your boat. Mr Tony and the crew made us feel so
very at home from the moment we arrived;
everyone was incredibly helpful and very
friendly, we really couldn't have asked for a
more pleasurable trip. We particularly enjoyed
the food, infact it was the best we had during
our travels through Egypt, so we were quite sad
to leave the boat and your fantastic chef behind
at Aswan! Mr Tony was wonderful, he looked after
our every need and provided us with some fun
entertainment in the evening. We found Egypt a
fascinating country, and had so many Preguntas más frecuentes
as you can imagine, Mr Tony provided us with a
variety of books on topics covering
Hieroglyphics to the Oasis's in the dessert,
which helped to provide us with a real
appreciation of all the history around us. These
together with our excellent guide Amr has meant
we found out much more about the country than we
expected. We very much hope to return one day.

Dear. Raed,
We'd like to thank you for the wonderful cruiser
we had in the Amalia Dahabeya last week. Mr.
Tony and the crew were so professional and
amiable with us. Everything was perfect, the
food, the services and the “entertainment” (we
dance all the nights) and we talk each other so
nicely. Any desires were satisfied before we had
the time to ask. I ask you to send ours thanks
to all the Amalia staff, in special to Mr. Tony,
to Kamal, to the chef and the captain . We
really enjoy so much our Nile cruiser and we
miss all of them.

Dear Raed,
I very much enjoyed my trip to Egypt arranged by your company in
May. The guides were very good. Ragab in
Luxor
and
Aswan was excellent. He
was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and helpful. I
appreciate that I was able to make some changes
to my itinerary after arriving. Abu Simbel was awe inspiring – though losing a night’s
sleep to get there was not a pleasant
experience.
I very much loved being on the dahabiya, Amalia.
The food was good, my room and private bathroom
were very good. Tony, Kamal and the crew were
thoughtful and wonderful. It was a delightful
experience.
I loved watching life on the
Nile. I enjoyed visiting Edfu, Esna
and Kom Ombo. The other visitors, who were on
the dahabiya at the same time, were very
enjoyable to travel with.
Even the mix-up with arriving at the Luxor train station at 5:30 am and the guide being told I was arriving
at 7:30
am turned into an interesting
adventure.
I have only one complaint. In the itinerary it
says: “Arrival to
Cairo airport,
our representative will assist you through
passport control formalities, luggage
identification & portage will greet you.”
There were a few guides before passport control,
but not mine. Down the stairs after passport
control was a place where most of the tour
agencies met their guests, but there was no one
there for me. I went to pick up my luggage, but
still no one to meet me. I had to exit the
baggage area before finding your representative.
Please don’t state
that your representative will help me with
passport and luggage if that is not going to
happen. Other than that, I will certainly
recommend your services to anyone I meet who is
interested in an Egypt tour.

Hello, first of all id like to introduce
myself my name is Jane Bramhall and i recently
travelled on the Amalia Dahabiya with Select
Egypt. I would just like to say how pleased both
me and my partner Juan were with the whole
package and the treatment that we recieved. Tony
the english manager on the Amalia was so lovely
and very thoughtful and our guide Mohamad Galal
was also superb and we would certainly like to
have him as our guide again in the future. The
crew on the Amalia were amazing and the food was
abssolutley delicious and we will certainly be
joining the Amalia again in the near future. It
was the highlight of our holiday and thats why i
wanted to send you this email. So everyone on
the Amalia deserves the highest praise.

Dear Sandy,
I am sorry I haven't been in Contacto before
today - work has been very busy and it's only
now on my off day that I have free time. First
of all, me, John and Alex would like to thank
you for organising a wonderful 2 holidays for us
- the desert trip and the cruise. Alex had a
fantastic time in the desert and we all had a
wonderful time on the cruise. I know that we had
a bit of trouble with one of the guides but
thank you for arranging a different guide so
quickly and efficiently - it was very much
appreciated. Also, the new guide Zeinab was
lovely too. So, a great holiday thanks, with a
lovely cruise ship, delicious food and
fascinating trips. We would live to do it all
over again! Actually, that's another reason I
am e-mailing you.

Dear Sandy,
Todd and I had a wonderful time while we are in
Egypt. We are quite satisfied with the
arrangement that was made. I highly recommend
Rameses to be your official guide as he’s
extremely passionate and exhibits patience
throughout our journey. He’s very professional
and is able to provide us with a better
perspective of the rich history that Egypt is so
full of… Not forgetting, I would also like to
express to both you and Rameses for being able
to locate my ipod, which is of sentimental value
to me. I’m eternally grateful for Rameses
assurance and I’m sure you’ve done your very
best to coordinate this with Talisman Hotel (by
the way, would they happen to let you know where
they find it cos we checked the room before we
checked out). Thanks Rameses – you’ve been an
exceptional guide and we were fortunate to have
met you. Mohdi, our 1st guide in Alexandria
was good as well and very charming. Very easy to
get along and was very patient with our
requests. Gambaly at Mt Sinaí was also a star.
He’s a straight-laced guy and we took an instant
liking to him. We had Ahmed, a young guy at
Aswan who graciously brought us to his favourite
caf up in the hills and we thought that was
extremely gracious of him. He even waited for us
patiently to complete our dinner even though he
declined our invitation to join us. On the
contrary, Hamdi was the opposite. We didn’t feel
that he shared the same passion as Rameses and
most of the time, we felt rushed even though he
said “take your time, but you need to come back
by this time.” We felt that we could have
explored or given more time to discover Luxor.
Unfortunately this doesn’t happen. Nevertheless,
we still had a great time in Egypt and I hope
the above comments goes to the guides
themselves. Could you please provide me with Rameses email address? I would like to
personally thank him. Thank you

the only thing was the broken car from nuweiba
to cairo. this should not happen again next
time. too much for the nerves., looking forward

we chose selectegypt for our white desert safari
tour and was a great experience. Our guide,
Khalid and our two driver, Akmed and Mouhei,
were brilliant and it was great to have them
show us around the Bahariya oasis as well as the
white desert.
It was definitely worth the money and
selectegypt provided a great service!
I did notice that there were a couple of places
we missed out on the itinerary, but that was
fine. What i may suggest is for the tour
operators and people whom customers Contacto with
just state that it is impractical to visit so
many places, because after going on the tour, it
would have been impossible to do everything.
Just a small recommendation to make sure any
future customers do not get their hopes up!
